CGC University Mohali begins new academic session with Sri Akhand Path Sahib

Mohali (Punjab), July 10, 2026: CGC University, Mohali marked the commencement of its new academic session with the solemn recitation of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, seeking divine blessings for a year filled with knowledge, success, positivity and new achievements.
The spiritual ceremony witnessed the participation of the university's management, faculty members, staff, students and distinguished guests, creating an atmosphere of devotion, peace and optimism across the campus.
On the occasion, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Founder Chancellor and Father of Education at CGC University, Mohali, said every new beginning should be rooted in faith and gratitude.
"As we begin the new academic session, we pray to Waheguru to bless us with wisdom, integrity, humanity and the strength to walk on the right path. We believe education is not limited to academic excellence but also nurtures values, responsibility and a spirit of service towards society," he said.
Sharing his thoughts, Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, CGC University, Mohali, said every academic session brings new aspirations, fresh goals and opportunities for growth.
"Beginning the session with Sri Akhand Path Sahib reflects our belief that spiritual values and education complement each other. We hope our students continue to learn with dedication, lead with humility and emerge as responsible citizens contributing meaningfully to society and the nation," he said.
The ceremony concluded with Guru Ka Langar, reinforcing the Sikh values of selfless service, equality and community spirit.
