  Tarn Taran (Punjab), July 14, 2026: A special Ardas is being held at Harike Pattan under the aegis of Sri Akal Takht Sahib in memory of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra and those described by organisers as the "missing martyrs" of Punjab's national struggle.
  
  Families of people who went missing during Punjab's militancy period gathered at Harike Pattan on Tuesday to offer prayers for the departed souls and renew their demand for truth, justice and accountability.
