Railways to run unreserved special train between Jalandhar City and Barhni during festive season
Ferozepur, September 25 2026: In view of the upcoming festive season and to facilitate the convenient movement of passengers, the Railways will operate an unreserved special train between Jalandhar City and Barhni for eight trips in each direction.
Train No. 05006 Jalandhar City–Barhni Unreserved Special will run every Thursday from October 8 to November 26, 2026. The train will depart from Jalandhar City at 10:50 am and reach Barhni at 4:45 am the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 05005 Barhni–Jalandhar City Unreserved Special will operate every Wednesday from October 7 to November 25, 2026. It will depart from Barhni at 3:10 pm and arrive at Jalandhar City at 8:30 am the following day.
The special trains will halt at Dhandari Kalan, Ambala Cantt, Yamunanagar Jagadhri, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur, Burhwal, Gonda, Balrampur and Tulsipur stations in both directions.
The special service has been planned to provide passengers with convenient and safe travel during the festive season, said senior railway official.
