CGC University Mohali hosts 40-plus education experts from over 20 countries at International Teaching Excellence Programme

Mohali (Punjab), October 10, 2026: CGC University Mohali hosted the International Teaching Excellence Programme 2026, bringing together more than 40 education experts and academic professionals from over 20 countries to discuss emerging teaching practices, technological innovations and global trends in education.
The programme aimed to promote international academic collaboration and encourage innovation in teaching. Experts exchanged views on modern pedagogical approaches, the use of technology in education, global academic practices and the role of teachers in preparing students for future challenges.
Interactive sessions and discussions provided participants with an opportunity to share experiences, explore new approaches to teaching and identify potential areas for academic cooperation.
Addressing the gathering, Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director of CGC University Mohali, said educational institutions needed to remain connected with global academic trends and embrace continuous learning to achieve excellence.
He described the programme as an initiative to bring education experts from different countries onto a common platform, facilitate the exchange of ideas and create opportunities for future academic partnerships.
Rachpal Singh Dhaliwal, Founder Chancellor of CGC University, said the university was committed to providing students and faculty members with international learning opportunities through academic exchange programmes, global internships and partnerships with foreign universities.
According to the university, it has more than 300 international collaborations across over 70 countries and five continents.
The programme sought to strengthen cooperation among education professionals from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds and explore ways to improve teaching quality through international knowledge-sharing.
