Better Roads Key to Prosperity: MLA Bhullar road repair project covering over 6 km
Ferozepur, April 20, 2026: MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar laid the foundation stones for repair works of various roads in the Ferozepur Urban constituency, to be undertaken at a cost of ₹1.10 crore.
The projects include the repair of the Arifke to Bandala road stretch (km 9.22 to 12.32) and the Ferozepur–Mallanwala road to Jaimal Wala–Hamad Chak stretch (km 7.60 to 10.53).
Speaking on the occasion, Bhullar said that areas with better transport connectivity witness faster development and greater prosperity. He added that the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening infrastructure to improve the quality of life for citizens.
He credited the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the guidance of Public Works Department Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO for accelerating development works across the state. He said these road repair and upgradation projects aim to provide better commuting facilities to the public and ensure smoother connectivity.
Bhullar further stated that the ongoing repair and renovation of these roads will bring significant relief to commuters and boost local connectivity.
Among those present on the occasion were Chairman Market Committee Balraj Singh Katora, Himanshu Thakkar, SDO Simran Kaur, JE Rajnish Sehgal, Amarinder Singh, Gurbhej Singh, Dharamvir Singh (Block Samiti Member), and several village sarpanches including Pippal Singh, Sanjit Singh, Gurdev Singh, Surjit Singh, Dilbagh Singh and Dalbir Singh, along with other dignitaries.
