AMURT Punjab extends humanitarian relief to flood-affected villages
Ferozepur, October 4, 2025: Setting an example of human compassion, the Anand Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT), Punjab-Chandigarh Unit, carried out extensive relief operations in flood-affected villages of the district.
The team visited Chandiwala, Hazara, and Kluwala villages, distributing 100 blankets, 50 ration kits, and 100 medicine packets to needy families. The relief effort was carried out in collaboration with the 155 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF). Villagers warmly welcomed and thanked the AMURT team for their support.

Acknowledging their efforts, BSF officials praised the humanitarian initiative, describing AMURT’s service as a true example of social responsibility and compassion.
The Seva Abhiyaan was led by Prem Rana, Ravinder Thakur, Acharya Rudrishishanand, Jasbir Singh, Chanchal Bhatia, Rajesh Batra, Sidharth Chawla, Kulwinder Nanda, Mamta, Ripple, Nitya, Shreya, and Abhinav, who collectively resolved to continue supporting affected families.
Speaking on the occasion, Prem Rana emphasised that AMURT’s mission is not limited to temporary relief. “We also want to instil confidence in the needy that society stands with them. Our team is always ready to extend help at any time,” he said.
Residents lauded the initiative, calling institutions like AMURT the “true gems of society.” They added that such services not only provide immediate aid but also strengthen the spirit of humanity in times of crisis.
