Obituary: Ravinder Bansal, PCS Officer (Retd.), Bereaved; Mother Darshana Devi Passes Away,Cremation in Chandigarh on Sept 4

Chandigarh, September 4, 2026:
Mr Ravinder Kumar Bansal, PCS officer ( Retd.) has suffered a deep personal loss with the passing away of his mother, Smt. Darshana Devi, after a prolonged illness. She passed away in Chandigarh this morning.
The last rites of Smt. Darshana Devi will be performed today, September 4, 2026, at 3 pm at the Sector 25 cremation ground in Chandigarh.
Smt. Darshana Devi was also the paternal aunt (Tai Ji) of Puneet Bansal, Tehsildar, Punjab.
The Bansal family traces its roots to Bathinda district of Punjab.
