MLA Dahiya fulfils 27-year-old demand of residents, inaugurates Faridkot Road-Army Area road
Ferozepur, October 5, 2026: Fulfilling a long-pending 27-year-old demand of residents of Pratap Nagar near Chungi No. 8 on Faridkot Road, Ferozepur Rural MLA Rajnish Kumar Dahiya inaugurated the repair and renovation work of the road connecting Faridkot Road with the Army Area.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dahiya said that the long-standing demand of the residents had finally been fulfilled and the road had been renovated to provide better connectivity and convenience to the people of the area.
He said that repair and renovation of roads across Ferozepur Rural constituency was being carried out continuously. Wherever new roads were required, new roads would also be constructed to meet the needs of the residents.
Dahiya said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, road infrastructure was being upgraded across the state. He added that while existing roads were being repaired and renovated, new roads were also being constructed wherever required.
MLA said that road-related development works were progressing continuously in Ferozepur Rural constituency and efforts were being made to address the genuine demands of local residents.
