Drone recovered along Indo-Pak border; Case registered under Aircraft Act
Ferozepur, May 21, 2025: A case has been registered under Sections 10, 11, and 12 of the Aircraft Act at Mamdot Police Station following the recovery of a drone along the Indo-Pak border.
B.S. Negi, Assistant Commandant and Company Commander of F Company, 155 Battalion BSF, deployed at Border Outpost Jagdish, provided the information. Based on his report, an unidentified person is under investigation.
The recovered drone is a Micro Drone DJI AIR 3S, grey, marked "Made in China," bearing battery number 41NPS7/38/102. The total weight of the drone is approximately 768 grams, including a 246-gram battery. The drone was found with its camera assembly broken.
Sub-Inspector Gurinder Kumar has been appointed as the Investigating Officer and is currently probing the case to ascertain the origin and intent behind the drone's presence near the border.
