Ferozepur in panic as four schoolboys, two young men go missing

Ferozepur (Punjab), May 24, 2025 – Panic has gripped Ferozepur after six young men, including four Class 12 students from Dev Samaj Model Senior Secondary School, mysteriously disappeared on Friday evening.
Their sudden disappearance has left families devastated and sparked widespread concern across the district.
No Contact Since Friday Evening, Phones Switched Off
According to family members, the students went missing around 5 PM on Friday, and none of them have been reachable since. Their mobile phones have remained switched off, adding to the growing worry.
The missing students have been identified as:
- Gurjeet Singh (Bedi Colony)
- Gurdit Singh (Gobind Enclave, Makhu Gate)
- Love (Village Ali Ke)
- Vishwadeep Singh (Village Ichha Wala)
Two Working Youths Also Missing
In addition to the school students, two other young men have also gone missing:
- Varinder Singh, an inverter repair technician residing near RSD College
- Krish, a pizza delivery boy for Domino’s, living in Basti Awa
Families in Distress, Police Begin Search
Distraught families filed a complaint late Friday night after searching for hours with no success. Local police have registered the case and launched an investigation.
Police Assure Swift Action
A City Police Station officer stated that the case is being taken seriously and that technical analysis is underway. “We are exploring all possible angles, and we’re hopeful of tracing the missing boys soon,” said the officer.
The simultaneous disappearance of six young men has caused widespread alarm in Firozpur, with residents anxiously awaiting updates. Police teams are working across leads, and further developments are expected soon.
