Dera Bassi hotel owner booked for flouting curfew norms
Mohali, April 30, 2021:
Dera Bassi police on Friday registered a case against the owner of Hotel Paras in Dera Bassi for flouting curfew norms.
Inspector Satinder Singh, Station House Officer of Dera Bassi police station said, “On getting the information that a party was being organized inside Hotel Paras in afternoon, we raided there and found there nearly 100 persons. The hotel owner was arrested immediately and an FIR under Section 188 of the IPC has been registered against him.”
The hotel is situated on Chandigarh-Ambala road. It is to be noted that amid COVID surge, Mohali administration had issued orders that a maximum of 20 people are allowed to attend weddings/parties/funerals.
