- Punjab extends Weekend Lockdown and other restrictions for two weeks (Read Order Copy)
  
  Chandigarh, May 1, 2021: In the light of the alarming rise of COVID-19 cases in the state, the Punjab government has extended weekend lockdown and other restrictions for two weeks.
  
  The new restriction will be implemented in the state with the effect from May 1, 2021, till May 15, 2021.
  
  The restrictions include daily night curfew from 6 pm to 5 am and a weekend curfew from 6 pm on Friday till 5 am on Monday. While all the weekly market to remain close, all shops including malls and multiplexes to close everyday by 5 pm.
