Haryana DGP writes to Punjab DGP to stop Poclain, JCBs and other such machines from Shambhu/ Khanauri Border; aksa to keep mediapersons, women,children and old age persons to keep away from the tension site

Haryana DGP has written to DGP of Punjab asking him to stop the movement of Poclaines, JCBs and other earth moving machinery towards Shambhu border and Khanauri border.
The DGP said that the use of Poclain and JCB machines may worsen the law and order situation on the border and the lives of the police personnel on duty may also be in danger. It has been said that the owners of these machines should be prohibited from giving the machines to farmers.
The DGP has also asked DGP Punjab to stop the media personnel about 1 km from the border. A separate letter has also been been sent asking to keep women, children and the elderly people at a distance of one kilo meter in view of the collision situation.
He also wrote a letter asking that the media persons and their vehicles should be stopped 1 km before the border. It is to be noted that recently, many journalist were injured at Shambhu border.
