Ludhiana (Punjab), March 19, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora extended his congratulations to around 950 youth who received appointment letters for teaching positions in Punjab's Department of Education.
The appointment letters were handed over by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, MP Arora expressed confidence that the newly appointed teachers would contribute their best efforts towards shaping a brighter future for students and the state.
He praised CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains for their continued efforts to enhance Punjab's education system.
Highlighting the progress made over the past three years, he noted that government school standards have improved significantly, leading to increased parental interest in enrolling children in state-run institutions, including Schools of Eminence.
He also pointed out that even teachers are now eager to receive training abroad—something that was not the case under previous administrations.
MP Arora further stated that of the total Rs.15 crore allocated under his MPLAD fund, the majority has been directed towards education, emphasizing their critical role in societal development.
He added being an MP he has done tremendous development work for overall growth and development of Ludhiana and many works are still in progress.
Additionally, he urged school authorities to enforce strict adherence to traffic rules to ensure the safety of school children.
