Sangrur (Punjab), May 24, 2025 – In a heartening initiative under the Punjab Government’s School Mentorship Scheme, Dr. Akshita Gupta, Municipal Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Phagwara, visited the School of Eminence in Lehragaga, where she delivered a powerful message of self-belief, clarity, and focused effort to over 100 students from classes IX to XII.

During her interactive session, Dr. Gupta distilled success into four transformative principles:
- Ask as Many Doubts as Possible – Encouraging curiosity, she emphasized that questions are signs of thinking minds.
- Three Hours of Focused Study Daily – Advocating for quality over quantity, she stressed the need for consistent, distraction-free study time.
- Study for Yourself, Not for Others – Urging students to find intrinsic motivation, she advised them to study to shape their own futures.
- Set Clear Goals – “Ask yourself what you want to become and why,” she said, stressing that purpose drives persistence.
Dr. Gupta also shared her inspirational journey — from a small-town student to securing top ranks in both NEET and the Civil Services Examination, two of India’s most competitive tests. Her story struck a deep chord with students, many of whom saw in her a reflection of their own aspirations.
Going beyond the classroom, Dr. Gupta invited students to connect through an online Google Form, promising personal responses to their questions about careers, academics, or personal growth — a rare gesture showcasing her ongoing commitment to mentorship.
She also released the Annual School Magazine, applauding the school’s focus on holistic development across academics and co-curricular activities.
District Education Officer (Secondary) and the school’s principal expressed their gratitude, saying her relatable advice and motivating presence had left an indelible impact on students.Dr. Gupta’s visit not only ignited minds but also planted the seeds of ambition and clarity, making her a true role model for Punjab’s youth.
