CGC Landran celebrates Placement Day 2026

Chandigarh, January 12, 2026: Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran celebrated Placement Day 2026, on campus, marking a significant milestone in the professional journeys of its graduating students.
With its 25 years’ legacy in academic excellence and prestigious NAAC A+ accreditation, the institution concluded the placement season with more than 10,000 placement offers received from over 1,300 recruiting companies with the highest package of ₹54 LPA, reflecting opportunities available to students across multiple disciplines.
The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries including Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran; Guests of Honour, Rakhi Jaggi, Head, Talent Management, Sony India, Ashish Saran, Regional HR, CSR and Admin Head, Sony India., Parampal Singh Dhillon, Vice Chairman, CGC Landran; Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, Mandeep Singh, Associate Director, TPP; Navneet Singh, Senior Director, CRC, Chhavi Manhas, AGM (CRC), CGC Landran and Deans and Directors of the institution.
A special magazine edition commemorating Placement Day 2026 was also unveiled by the luminaries. CGC Landran witnessed more than 30 companies offering packages of ₹20 LPA and above, 50+ companies offering ₹15 LPA, 100+ companies extending ₹10 LPA offers, while 300+ companies offering ₹7 LPA packages and 500+ companies providing packages of ₹5 LPA, ensuring wide-ranging career opportunities across disciplines. Several students secured multiple job offers from reputed companies including Philips India Ltd; TVS Motor Company Ltd; Nokia; Ashok Leyland; Capgemini India, Berger Paints; MRF, Accenture, Cognizant, Mu Sigma, EY (Ernst & Young) India, KPMG India, PwC, Nagarro Software Pvt. Ltd., HDFC Life, IBM Consulting, Coforge Limited, Capgemini, L&T Technology Services Ltd., Congruex Asia Pacific LLP, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bajaj Allianz, Eversub India Pvt. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran, congratulated the students and reaffirmed the institution’s focus on skill development, quality education and consistent placement support. Extending his heartfelt best wishes to the students and their families, he expressed pride in them and urged them to work hard, dream big and never give up.
He described the youth of the nation as harbingers of positive change and progress, highlighting Prime Minister Modi’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision and the crucial role young people will play in shaping the country’s future.
Encouraging students to rise above challenges and tough circumstances, he inspired them to become problem-solvers and job creators, ready to face any exam or life challenge with confidence.
He also emphasized the importance of respecting parents, choosing good friends and believing in oneself, reminding them that everyone has unique abilities and the power to achieve their goals through determination and perseverance.
The placement outcomes were supported by structured training initiatives, continuous industry engagement, and skill-development programmes aimed at enhancing student employability.
