In a significant development, the Supreme Court on Monday granted bail to senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia, providing him major relief in the ongoing case.
The bail plea was allowed by a bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta. With this order, Majithia is set to be released from custody, subject to the conditions laid down by the apex court.
