Chandigarh Airport to add new direct flights to Pune, Bengaluru from this date

Chandigarh, May 26, 2026: Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport is set to enhance domestic air connectivity with the introduction of two new direct flights to Pune and Bengaluru starting June 1 under the summer flight schedule.
Air India Express will operate a new daily non-stop flight between Chandigarh and Pune, offering passengers an additional travel option on the busy sector. The flight will depart from Chandigarh at 12:45 am and arrive in Pune at approximately 3:10 am. The return service will leave Pune at 3:45 am and reach Chandigarh at 6:05 am.
Airport officials said this would be the first post-midnight flight service to operate from Chandigarh airport during the summer schedule.
In another boost to connectivity, an additional direct flight to Bengaluru will also commence from June 1. The flight will depart Chandigarh at 6:40 am and land at Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 2 at 9:55 am. On the return route, the flight will leave Bengaluru at 9:15 pm and arrive in Chandigarh at 12:15 am.
Bookings for both services have already opened.
With the launch of the new Bengaluru flight, the number of daily non-stop flights operating between Chandigarh and Bengaluru will rise to five, catering to increasing passenger demand on the route.
Currently, only one direct flight connects Chandigarh and Pune, which is operated by IndiGo.
