Punjab Bleeding While Criminals Rule the Streets: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan
Chandigarh 16 November 2025: National BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that the brutal, shameless, cold-blooded murder of Naveen Arora in Ferozepur’s Mochi Bazaar is not just a crime it is a disgusting display of how fearless criminals have become under a collapsing law-and-order system. Grewal said that two cowardly, masked goons openly shot at an innocent man closing his shop, killing him on the spot and walked away as if the city belongs to these street thugs.
In a press statement here today Grewal said that this horrifying incident has once again exposed that the situation in Punjab has reached a point where criminals neither fear the police nor the law, and innocent citizens are forced to live in terror while murderers roam like kings. He said that bullets flying in a crowded market, people running for their lives, and shops shutting in fear has shown that the administration has completely failed in maintaining even basic public safety.
Grewal told that Naveen Arora was the grandson of late Dina Nath Arora, a respected RSS figure from the time of Independence, and killing a family with such a nationalist legacy is a direct attack on values, social stability and national security. He told that this murder is not an isolated act just a few days earlier, firing had taken place in the nearby Saree Bazaar as well. He said that these back-to-back violent incidents clearly prove that Punjab is slipping into the grip of dangerous criminal elements who think they can do anything, anytime, anywhere.
Grewal said that the people’s anger is justified and the slogans raised against the police reflect the deep frustration of the public. He said that this is happening because the administration has allowed these criminals to believe that law is a joke and policing is a formality.
Grewal told that he strongly demands the Punjab Police and senior officials to stop issuing hollow statements and instead arrest the killers immediately, expose the network behind them, and deliver the harshest punishment possible. He said that enough is enough no more excuses, no more delays, no more useless assurances.
He said that strictest, strongest, ruthless action must be taken now and every person responsible must be dragged out, arrested, and thrown behind bars without mercy.
Grewal said that he stands firmly with the grieving family and the people of Ferozepur, and he warned that if the government fails to control this lawlessness, the public’s anger will erupt even more fiercely.
