Grewal stated that Guru Ji’s timeless message of equality, dignity, compassion and social harmony continues to inspire generations, and this respectful decision reflects the deep reverence of the Modi Government towards India’s spiritual and social heritage.
Grewal told that this visionary step is not merely symbolic but carries a powerful message of inclusion and national unity. Grewal further said that the inauguration of the new terminal building at Halwara Airport is a moment of immense joy and pride for the people of Punjab, especially Ludhiana and the surrounding regions. He said that Ludhiana is the dynamic industrial and commercial backbone of North India and plays a vital role in India’s economic growth through manufacturing, exports and entrepreneurship.
He said that for a long time, the people of Ludhiana aspired for world-class air connectivity, and under the decisive and visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, this long-standing demand is now being fulfilled. Grewal emphasized that improved air connectivity will boost industrial growth, attract investment, create employment opportunities and strengthen Punjab’s global economic linkages.
