  Chandigarh, October 22, 2025: The Punjab government has appointed new District Commissioners (DCs) for three major districts: Amritsar, Pathankot, and Gurdaspur.
  - Amritsar has received IAS officer Dalvinder Singh as its new DC.
  - Pathankot’s new DC is IAS officer Pallavi.
  - Gurdaspur will now be administered by Aditya Uppal as the district’s DC.
