114 deaths and 6132 new COVID cases reported in Punjab
Chandigarh, April 30, 2021:
The state on Friday reported 6,132 new COVID positive cases. 114 deaths due to COVID were also reported from various districts of Punjab in the last 24 hours (Amritsar-17, Barnala-2, Faridkot-2, FG Sahib-3, Fazilka-3, Ferozpur-5, Gurdaspur-7, Hoshiarpur-5, Jalandhar-7, Ludhiana-20, Kapurthala-3, Moga-2, S.A.S Nagar -8, Muktsar-7, Pathankot-3, Patiala-12, Sangrur-6, SBS Nagar-2).
As per the medical bulletin of Punjab, total number of active cases in the state stands at 55,798. The total number of COVID positive cases till date are 3,70,973. The death toll in Punjab now reached 9,022.
The maximum number of cases was reported from Mohali – 857 followed by Ludhiana - 792.
