Mohali admn hands over 8 ventilators to private hospitals
Mohali, April 30, 2021:
The district administration has handed over eight ventilators, kept in the Civil Hospital, to the private hospitals of the city on Friday. Max Hospital and Fortis Hospital of Mohali have been provided four ventilators each which will be put into operation with immediate effect, informed Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.
He said that the ventilators were received under PM CARE but due to no operator in the Civil Hospital, they could not be put into operation. These ventilators were to be used in Medical College of Mohali. The process of recruitment of human resources and construction of infrastructure for the medical college is in progress but as long as the faculty joins and other arrangements are made, these ventilators for their best use have been handed over to private hospitals for the time being.
