Supreme Court advances summer break due to COVID surge
New Delhi, May 1, 2021: In view of the alarming rise of COVID-19 cases, the apex court has advanced its summer vacation. Where earlier the summer break was to commence on May 14, the Supreme Court in now be going on break from May 10. It will re-open after a summer break on May 28, 2021.
In its fresh orders, the Chief Justice of India has directed for the rescheduling of Supreme Court calendar 2021 in view of the COVID surge.
