Sukhi Bath unveils young writers' book 'Naviyaan Kalman Naveen Udaan' Vol-19
It’s an initiative to connect children with Punjabi literature on a larger scale - Bath

Ferozepur, August 29, 2024: The latest book by young authors of Ferozepur, "Naviyaan Kalman Naveen Udaan" Vol-19, was dedicated to the public at Dev Samaj Model Senior Secondary School. The initiative was made possible by Sukhi Bath, the founder of Punjab Bhawan Surrey, Canada, and Punjab Bhawan Jalandhar, with the book being edited by Dr. Amarjyoti Mangat. Sukhi Bath, a renowned social worker, attended the event as the Chief guest.
Sukhi Bath praised the entire team associated with the project and said, "This initiative is directly linked to the promotion and preservation of the Punjabi language. My efforts will greatly help the new generation stay away from prevailing negative influences and connect with Punjabi literature." He added that the book contains compositions by 99 children from 67 schools in Ferozepur district.
The ceremony was presided over by Munila Arora, District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Sunita Rani, District Education Officer (Elementary Education), Amrik Singh, District Public Relations Officer, Principal Dr Satinder Singh (National Awardee), Dr Jagdeep Singh Sandhu, District Language Officer, and Advocate Ajay Batta. They lauded Sukhi Bath and his organization for their exceptional efforts towards promoting the Punjabi language among school students and congratulated the entire team involved in the project.
Dr. Amarjoti Mangat, the book’s editor, expressed appreciation for the initiative and thanked all the guests, teachers, and students present. The students of various schools from the district contributed their creative works to the book. During the event, the students presented their published compositions in a captivating manner. Medals and certificates were awarded to the children for their participation.
The event witnessed the presence of Ashok Behl, Secretary of District Red Cross; Dr Sunita Rangbula, Manager of Dev Samaj Model School; Dr Sangeeta, Principal of Dev Samaj College for Women; Dr Rajwinder Kaur, Principal of Dev Samaj College of Education; social worker Vipul Narang; Dr Swarn Kaur Siona, social worker; Prof. J.S. Mangat; S. Onkar Singh Teje, Project Incharge; Suman Deep Kaur, BPEO Ferozepur 1; Sukhwinder Kaur, BPEO Makhu; Harjeet Kaur, BPEO Mallawala; Surinder Singh, BPEO Guru Har Sahai 2; Jaswinder Singh, BPEO Mamdot; Harpinder Singh Khalsa, Gurdwara Chhappri Sahib Tut; Rajinder Singh Raja, along with a large number of teachers and students.
