TechQuest 2025 ignites innovation at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University

Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), April 4, 2025 – The Technology Club of the Department of Computer Science at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University organized the much-anticipated TechQuest Competition, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of budding tech minds.The event witnessed spirited participation from 11 teams comprising students from B.Tech, BCA, and MCA programs.
The competition unfolded across three intellectually stimulating rounds, designed to assess participants’ skills in technology, programming, and general awareness.
After an intense first round of quizzing, five teams advanced to the final stages. Ultimately, the team of Sahibjot Singh, Prabhsimran Kaur, Harshpreet Singh, Dhruvil Kumar, and Sanjay Kumar from B.Tech CSE Sixth Semester emerged victorious.
Dr. Kamaljit Kaur and Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Coordinators of the Technology Club, praised the students for their active involvement, emphasizing how such platforms boost technical acumen, critical thinking, and collaborative spirit.
Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Head of the Department, congratulated all participants and winners, stating, “Academic events like TechQuest are key to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning—critical in today’s fast-evolving tech landscape.”
The event concluded on a celebratory note, with participants receiving certificates and prizes, leaving everyone motivated and inspired for future challenges in the world of technology.
