Village girl’s triple academic triumph brings glory to Govt High School in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, July 8, 2025: In an inspiring tale of hard work and determination, Ramandeep Kaur, a student of Government High School, Ahmed Dhandi, has achieved a rare academic feat — securing admission offers from three prestigious universities in 2025.
Ramandeep Kaur’s story is a shining example of perseverance, dedication, and the transformative power of education.
Hailing from a rural border village, Ramandeep’s journey stands as a beacon of hope for students in Punjab. After passing her 10th Board Examination in 2023, she continued her studies in the Non-Medical (Science) stream. In her 10+2 Board Exams this year from Saragarhi Memorial Meritorious School, Hakumat Singh Wala (Ferozepur), she secured an A+ grade with an impressive 467 marks.
Her academic achievements in 2025 include admission to Punjabi University, Patiala, and selection by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (A++ grade). Additionally, she excelled in the national-level CUET (UG) 2025, scoring 89.29% in Physics and a perfect 100th percentile in Punjabi, making her eligible for admission to a Central University. She is currently undergoing counselling for final enrollment.
Ramandeep’s remarkable success has brought pride to her school and community, showcasing the hidden potential of students from government schools and rural areas.
