Breaking: Punjab Education Dept takes major decision on recruitment of 2,000 PTI teachers

Chandigarh, August 11, 2025:The Punjab Education Department has officially cancelled the recruitment process for 2,000 Physical Training Instructor (Elementary Cadre) teachers.
According to the department’s order issued on July 18, 2025, the recruitment notification was published earlier, but a revised decision dated August 10, 2025, has now withdrawn the advertisement.
The directive states that any applications submitted under the earlier notification will no longer be processed.
The department further clarified that candidates who had applied via the official portal www.educationrecruitmentboard.com will not have their applications considered, and the recruitment process stands cancelled in full.
