He said that the eligible persons can vote by filling out Form-6 with the concerned BLO, Election Registration Officer, and Assistant Election Registration Officer.

The right to vote can be used only when the name is entered in the voter list
District Election Officer Rahul Hooda said that every voter must exercise their right to vote in the great festival of democracy . For this, every voter must ensure that his name is recorded in the voter list . Only those voters whose name is in the voter list can exercise their right to vote .
If a voter's name is in the voter list , but he does not have a voter identification card (EPIC), he can also cast his vote by showing another alternative identification card directed by the Election Commission.
He said that even if the voter has an old EPIC card, he can vote , provided that his name should be in the voter list of that area.
If a voter's name is not on the voter list and he shows his Aadhaar card or voter card or other identity card at the polling center to vote, he will not be allowed to vote. Any Kotar can vote only if his name is entered in the electoral roll.
Voters can cast their votes by showing other documents besides the Epic card
The District Election Officer said that apart from the Epic card, voters can also vote using other optional photo identification documents as directed by the Election Commission of India.
These documents include a passport , driving license , service identity card with photo issued by central , state government public enterprises or private limited companies, passbook with photo issued by bank or post office , PAN card , smart card issued by ministry of labor , MNREGA job card . , health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of the Ministry of Labour, pension document with photograph, authorized identity card issued to MPs , MLAs/MLCs, and Aadhaar card.
