Maape-Adhyapak Milni held with enthusiasm in all govt schools
Ferozepur, February 7, 2026: Under the guidelines of the Punjab School Education Department, Punjab, parent-teacher meetings (Maape-Adhyapak Milni) were organized with great zeal across all government schools in the district. The events were conducted under the tutelage of District Education Officer (Elementary) Munila Arora, District Education Officer (Secondary) Sunita Rani, Deputy District Education Officer (Elementary) Dr. Satinder Singh (National Awardee), and Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Komal Arora.
Special focus was given to the PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School (Boys) and Government Senior Secondary School Bare Ke, where the meetings were held successfully with high participation and enthusiasm. The primary objective of these meetings was to inform parents about the school’s educational progress, students’ performance, and available facilities, thereby strengthening collaboration between the school and parents.
MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar, attended as the chief guest, while Dr. Satinder Singh (National Awardee) was present as a special guest.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Bhullar stated that the Punjab Government is committed to providing better facilities in government schools to ensure quality education for students. He praised the hard work, dedication, and efficient management of school heads and staff. He appealed to parents to enroll their children in these schools, highlighting the safe environment, discipline, and modern facilities available, asserting that government schools are now in no way inferior to private ones.
Dr. Satinder Singh interacted with parents, providing detailed information on students’ academic performance, co-curricular activities, and basic infrastructure in the schools. He encouraged parents to take continuous interest in their children’s studies and maintain regular communication with teachers. He noted that mega parent-teacher meetings were organized from pre-primary to Class 12, with large numbers of parents participating. Parents appreciated the school’s initiatives and assured full cooperation in the future.
On the occasion, a pamphlet highlighting the department’s achievements was released by the chief guest. Among those present were Rajiv Maini, Rakesh Grover, BPEO Ranjit Singh, Ashwinder Singh Brar, Heera Singh Toot, Nitima, Sukhmeet Kaur, Mani Kamboj, Allen Bhatti, Himanshu Thakkar, and Harmit Singh Khai.
