Ludhiana, April 2, 2024: Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu who recently joined BJP said that Punjab is a border state which is always under threat perception from anti-national forces.
"We need to take Punjab towards peace, Progress, and happiness while tackling the anti-nationalists,".
Addressing the media on his maiden visit to the BJP office in Ludhiana today, Ravneet Singh Bittu said that Punjab has been facing threat perception from anti-national elements, within and outside the state. We have lost so many lives fighting against these forces.
"Only BJP can take the Nationalist agenda forward under the dynamic leadership of Sh. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. The same agenda has to be carried in Punjab also so that our state prospers. The Prime minister of India Sh. Narendra Modi and the Home minister of India Sh. Amit shah are very concerned about the Punjab and Punjabis. Citing one example Bittu said that if the Ferozepur visit of the Prime Minister which was disrupted by the anti-national forces, Punjab would have seen significant development projects which were to be announced by the Prime Minister that day. My grandfather Late S. Beant Singh also sacrificed his life for the peace of Punjab fighting for terrorism. Now the terrorism has taken new shape like Bhai Amritpal to gangs of extortion which are now operating in the state, Punjab has to come out of this for multidimensional development which is only possible if BJP is voted to power again," he said.
Commenting on the development of Ludhiana, Bittu said that there has been number of projects which were brought in Ludhiana in his last term but now this time if the voters of Ludhiana give me a hattrick chance I will “RESHAPE” Ludhiana with BJP in power at the center. Be it industrialist, trader, shopkeeper, farmer, farm laborer or any others, I will take them to the union Govt for their redressal. There must have been some shortcomings on my part also as I am also human being and to commit mistakes is human nature but I have learnt also from my shortcomings.
Bittu also thanked the Congress party saying that it was the Congress who picked me for Member of Parliament from Anandpur Sahib in 2009, made me MP thrice, today I am grateful to the congress party for making Ravnit Bittu, what today he is. While refraining to comment on the local congress leadership, Bittu said that “PAST IS PAST LET’S SEE FUTURE”.
Bittu was given rousing welcome at the railway station Ludhiana by Rajneesh Dhiman District president BJP and the entire BJP workers. Pro Modi, BJP and Ravnit Bittu slogans were raised by party workers at the railway station after which he paid obeisance at Shri Durga Mata Mandir Ludhiana. Later a roadshow was taken from Shri Durga Mata mandir to the BJP office.
