Ludhiana, December 3, 2017: The Moga police have arrested a man from Jammu on suspicion of being a funding conduit for target killings in Punjab. He is alleged to have been receiving funds from UK.
The alleged accused identified as Jagjit Singh (30) runs an appliances repair shop in Jammu. He was produced in court at Baghapurana on Saturday and sent to three-day police remand.
According to the police, he is linked with Trilok Singh Laddi and his cousin Jimmy from UK who used to send money into account of Jagjit Singh. The funds received thus were handed to Laddi who allegedly used these in target killings.
