Congress will bring employment revolution on 'youth justice' if it comes to power in 2024: Mohit Mahindra

Chandigarh, March 9, 2024: Indian National Congress after coming to power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will bring employment revolution in the country by creating employment opportunities and job security.
Giving details about the “Yuva Nyaya” program launched by Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan, Punjab Youth Congress President Mohit Mahindra said that the "Bharati Asurak" Congress has guaranteed to create 30 lakh jobs in the central government.
"Already 10 lakh sanctioned posts are lying vacant in the departments. Congress (PEHLI NAUKRI PAKKI) guarantees a new Fair Apprenticeship Act to provide a one-year apprenticeship with a private or public sector company to every diploma holder or college graduate below 25 years of age. Apprentices will get around one lakh per annum. 8500 per month apprenticeship should be justified by the demand for which each qualified person should be placedNo one will compel the companies, it is already in the 1961 act. We are increasing it from 8 lakh to 50 lakh apprenticeships which will facilitate skills, employment and above all dignity for the youth," said Mohit Mohindra.
Pointing to the new law to ensure higher standards of honesty and fairness in the conduct of public examinations, Mohit said the law will prevent paper leaks from ruining the future of crores of youth. In the last five years, 41 papers have been leaked in recruitment exams in 15 states, destroying the aspirations of 1.4 crore applicants. Yuva Roshni in which we will create a corpus of Rs 5000 crore, the allocation of which will be in all districts of the country for a period of five years, Mohit added.
"Youngsters below the age of 40 can avail start up funding for their business ventures in any field. The Congress Party will bring legislation to ensure better working conditions and social security for the millions and millions of youth who seek employment in the larger economy every year. Gig workers earn less than regular workers and their incomes will decrease between 2019 and 2022. Congress passed the Rajasthan Platform-Based Gig Worker Act in 2023," he added.
