Kisan Unions announce All India Mega programs in coming days

Chandigarh, February 22, 2024:Many farmers leaders from various states addressed a press conference at Kisan Bhawan here on Thursday on death of Shubhkaran during on-going agitation of farmers at Punjab-Haryana borders.
Joginder Singh Ugrahan announced that all Kisan Unions would burn effigies of Haryana Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Haryana home minister Anil Vij.
Balbir Singh Rajewal said that they demanded 1 crore compensation for family of Shubhkaran Singh. He also said cases should be registered against personnels of Haryana police who have damaged several tractors of farmers at Khanauri border.
On March 14, a mahapanchayt would be held by Kisan unions at New Delhi.
Rakesh Tikait announced that on February 26, tractor march would be held towards Delhi by farmers to demand removal of agriculture sector from world trade organisation. It would be a nationwide tractor march and would pass through state and national highways.
Kisan leaders present on this occasion are Balbir Singh Rajewal, Rakesh Tikait, Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Ruldu Singh Mansa, Yudhveer Singh, Dr Darshan Pal and many other
