Navjot Sidhu to lead convoy of 10,000 vehicles for Lakhimpur Kheri, informs Pargat Singh (Watch Video)

Chandigarh, October 6, 2021: Punjab Cabinet minister Pargat Singh informed that Punjab Congress will take the convoy of 10,000 vehicles to Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh where the violence broke out three days ago.
Speaking to the media, Pargat informed that the route map for the same has already been planned out.
It is to be noted that senior Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has announced his plan of marching to Lakhimpur Kheri two days ago.
In a tweet, he has given an ultimatum to the Uttar Pradesh government that said if by Wednesday the Union Minister’s son (prime accused in the incident) is not arrested and Priyanka Gandhi is not released, Punjab Congress will march towards Lakhimpur Kheri.
On Wednesday, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel also proceeded towards Lakhimpur Kheri.
A total of eight people including four farmers died in the violence that took place in Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3.
Politics is on fire after the accident in Lakhimpur, UP. While Rahul Gandhi accompanied Punjab CM Charanjit Channi and Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel to Lakhimpur today, Navjot Sidhu also planned to visit Lakhimpur tomorrow. In this regard Navjot Sidhu held a meeting with Congress leaders at Punjab Bhawan Chandigarh. After the meeting, Cabinet Minister Pargat Singh informed that he would take a convoy of about 10,000 vehicles to Lakhimpur.
