Anil Vij takes jibe at Sidhu: Here’s what he said

Chandigarh, October 9- Haryana Home and Health Minister, Anil Vij today again hit on Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu on observing fast.
“Navjot Singh Sidhu has observed a vow of silence, if he keeps a fast of silence permanently, then the Congress will also get a lot of peace and the country will also get a lot of peace,” Vij said.
Taking a jibe at the infighting within the Congress, he said that "This is Congress infighting and when a ship starts sinking, it starts to falter, in the same way, they are faltering again and again. This is indicating that the ship of Congress is about to sink.
On Lakhimpur Kheri violence, Vij said that in Uttar Pradesh, the government is taking fair action, wherever the arrest is required, it will be brought to an end without any discrimination.
He said that action is being taken by the administration in Lakhimpur Kheri under what, when, against whom and this process is going on. Urging the farmers, Vij said that farmer leaders should also take patience.
Haryana's farmer is very intelligent- Vij
Appreciating the farmers of Haryana, he said that the farmers of Haryana are very intelligent.
“He knows very well that burning of stubble damages the environment and also reduces the fertility of the land. Therefore, the farmers of Haryana are always cautious in this matter and the farmers are also informed about this from time to time by the government so that whatever possible efforts can be made to stop it,” he said.
Sidhu ended his hunger strike on Saturday after the son of MoS Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni, Ashish Mishra, appeared before the crime branch in Lakhimpur Kheri violence.
