Chandigarh, May 17, 2025: In a significant operation against alleged espionage activities, Indian authorities have arrested six Indian nationals — including a Haryana-based woman YouTuber and a Sikh youth — for their suspected links with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Among those arrested is Jyoti Malhotra, a travel blogger who ran the popular YouTube channel "Travel with Jo."
According to officials, Malhotra had traveled to Pakistan in 2023 after obtaining a visa through commission agents. Her movements and communications during and after the trip reportedly raised red flags with intelligence agencies.
The other individuals arrested in connection with the case are:
- Yameen Mohd, a resident of Malerkotla, Punjab
- Devinder Singh Dhillon, from Kaithal, Haryana
- Arman, from Nuh, Haryana
Sources familiar with the investigation suggest that the accused were allegedly involved in sharing sensitive and strategically important information with Pakistani handlers.
The arrests were made following a coordinated probe involving central intelligence and state police departments.
