After becoming regular DGP Gaurav Yadav calls on CM MannBabushahi Bureau
Chandigarh, October 9, 2026: Punjab’s newly appointed regular Director General of Police (DGP), Gaurav Yadav, met Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday and briefed him on the state’s internal security and law and order situation.
Punjab Chief Secretary was also present at the meeting. After the meeting, Yadav said Punjab Police remained committed to maintaining peace, communal harmony and public safety in the state.
He reiterated that making Punjab safe and drug-free remained a key priority and said efforts in this direction would be intensified.
