Kapurthala: Unified State Helpline 1100 starts for smooth delivery of services
People would be able to file grievances, feedback, requests, and information with regard to different departments

Sultanpur Lodhi (Kapurthala), March 12, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal announced today that the Punjab government has launched a unified state helpline, 1100, which serves as a common resource for public grievances, citizen feedback, requests, and information related to various departments by consolidating all non-emergency services.
Panchal stated that citizens can call 1100 for information, inquiries about government schemes, and to lodge complaints.
Additionally, departments will utilize this helpline to conduct outreach, collect citizen feedback, and promote awareness of their services.
Encouraging maximum usage of this helpline, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that it aims to enhance citizen satisfaction and build trust in government services.
He also noted that the helpline will foster better cooperation among departments, leading to more effective implementation of schemes.Furthermore, the centralized tracking of citizen interactions will allow for improved monitoring and evaluation of service delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the public to take full advantage of helpline 1100 to easily access citizen-centric services.
