Sukhbir meets Avtar Singh Makkar at his residence
Ludhiana, October 3, 2018: SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal today met former SGPC Chief Avatar Singh Makkar after addressing a meeting of the Akali workers in the Model Town gurdwara being managed by committee headed by Jathedar Makkar.
The meeting was held for the preparation of Patiala rally of SAD.
Sukhbir along with Bikram Majithia, Dr Daljit Singh Cheema and Maheshinder Singh Grewal visited to the residence of Jathedar Makkar and spent about half an hour there.
This was Sukhbir’s first meeting with Makkar after latter's outburst against the SAD leadership on the issues of Justice Ranjit Singh Commission report and the pardon granted to Dera Sirsa Head by Akal Takht.
Earlier Jathedar Makkar also addressed the gathering of Akali workers in the gurdwara and expressed full faith in the leadership of the party. He said he would work as loyal worker of SAD for ever.
