In an inspiring achievement, Anureet Kaur, a student from the small village of Godharpur in Gurdaspur district, has made history by scoring an outstanding 498 out of 500 marks in the CBSE Class 10 board examinations.
To honour her remarkable success, her mentor Ritik Sir made a special visit to her village to personally congratulate Anureet and her parents, Upkar Singh and Amanbir Kaur.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritik Sir lauded her dedication and perseverance. “When a student truly wants to achieve something, they always find a way, no matter the circumstances,” he said.
Anureet’s journey stands as a powerful example of determination and self-discipline. Despite living in a remote area with no access to coaching centres or academic support, and with no educational background in the family, she remained focused. She connected with Ritik Sir through the online learning platform PhysicsWallah, where she regularly followed video lectures and attended doubt-clearing sessions for two years to strengthen her understanding.
Currently studying at James School in Batala, Anureet expressed her deep interest in Mathematics. She urged fellow students to follow their passions with commitment and purpose. “Success comes when you are driven by a goal and have the courage to pursue it with consistency,” she said.
Her achievement has brought immense pride not only to her family and school but also to her village, serving as a beacon of inspiration for rural students across the state.
