Ferozepur, May 28, 2025: Punjab's commitment to eradicating drug abuse and advancing education was on full display as MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar spearheaded a series of awareness rallies in multiple villages, while MLA Rajneesh Dahiya inaugurated key development projects in government schools.
Under the drug de-addiction campaign, Bhullar led awareness marches in villages such as Gillan Wala, Khushhal Singh Wala, and Asal, while Chairman of the District Planning Committee, Chand Singh Gill, and Coordinator of the De-Addiction Campaign, Dr. Amandeep Kaur Gosal, conducted similar programs in Sodhe Wala, Bahadur Wala, and Padhri. Addressing the gatherings, Bhullar emphasized that Punjab’s government is resolute in its efforts to eliminate drugs and restore the state’s glory as “Rangla Punjab.” He urged the public to actively support anti-drug efforts by reporting drug traffickers to civil and police authorities.
Furthermore, MLA Dahiya inaugurated development projects in government primary and senior secondary schools under the ‘Punjab Education Revolution.’ Schools in Ferozeshah, Lalle, Machhi Bugra, Wara Jawahar Singh Wala, Bhangali Narayangarh, and Ghall Khurd witnessed infrastructural improvements aimed at enhancing the learning environment. Dahiya highlighted the government’s commitment to sending teachers abroad for specialized training to ensure students receive high-quality education.
Both initiatives stand as testaments to Punjab’s evolving strategies—one addressing social issues like drug addiction through community-driven action, and the other fostering an improved education system for future generations. Local leaders and officials present at these events reiterated their dedication to making Punjab a drug-free and academically empowered state.
