Tarn Taran shines in Punjab Matric results; secures third rank with 5 students in merit list

Tarn Taran (Punjab), May 16, 2025: Tarn Taran district has made a mark in the Punjab School Education Board's Matriculation Examination 2025 by achieving an outstanding third rank across the state, with a pass percentage of 98.08%.
According to District Education Officer (Secondary) Satnam Singh Bath, five students from the district secured places in the state merit list, bringing pride and recognition to the region.
The meritorious students include:
- Kartik, son of Jagmohan Mehta, Govt. Senior Secondary School Patti Boys – 635/650
- Paramveer Singh, son of Pardeep Singh, Baba Gurmukh Singh Uttam Singh Sr. Sec. School – 629/650
- Pawandeep Kaur, daughter of Rasal Singh, Gurukul Public Sr. Sec. School Bhikhiwind – 628/650
- Suneha Sharma, daughter of Sarwan Kumar, IT Sr. Sec. School Bhagwanpura – 628/650
- Tanu Sharma, daughter of Satish Kumar, Baba Gurmukh Singh Uttam Singh Sr. Sec. School Khadoor Sahib – 628/650
Bath praised the consistent efforts of the students, teachers, and school leadership in maintaining academic excellence. He congratulated all those who contributed to this success and encouraged students to continue striving for higher achievements.
Deputy Commissioner Rahul also extended his heartfelt congratulations to DEO Satnam Singh Bath, Deputy DEO Paramjit Singh, and all the educators of the district.
