New Curriculum and Activities Prove Beneficial for Teachers – Rajan Narula
PSCER-Edu Deptt jointly hosts 3-Day Training Seminar for Primary School Teachers
Ferozepur, February 13, 2025: A three-day seminar for primary school teachers of Ferozepur-2 block commenced at the BRC Hall, Ferozepur-2. The event is being organized under the leadership of District Education Officer (EE) Sunita Rani and Deputy District Education Officer (EE) Komal Arora, with the supervision of Block Primary Education Officer Rajan Narula and Nodal Officer Kawalbir Singh, CHT Ruknewala.
The seminar, conducted by the Punjab State Council for Educational Research in collaboration with the Punjab School Education Board, aims to enhance the implementation of the pre-primary to Grade 3 curriculum and optimize children's learning experiences.
On the first day, BRC official Mahinder Sharma guided teachers on effectively implementing the new curriculum and activities related to Punjabi, Mathematics, and English at the grassroots level. Addressing the gathering, Paramjit Singh emphasized that the department has entrusted teachers with the responsibility of executing the state-mandated agenda and educational initiatives with full dedication.
Block Resource Persons Rajesh Makkar and Jatinder Singh conducted subject-specific activities for Punjabi, engaging teachers in practical exercises. The seminar also included an interactive session where teachers' queries were addressed effectively.
The three-day workshop is expected to equip teachers with valuable insights and practical approaches to enhance classroom learning and ensure better academic outcomes for students.
