We condemn what happened in Red Fort: Kisan Mazdoor Sangarsh Committee (Watch Video)
New Delhi, January 27, 2021: Distancing itself from the violence that left many injured, the members of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee condemned the violence that broke out during the Tractor Parade on Tuesday.
“ We have no plan of going to Red Fort. No members from the leadership were the part of people who reached Red Fort,” the members stated.
The leaders said that they had planned a peaceful protest and followed it properly.
"Majority of the farmers carried out the protect peacefully. Only because of few anti-social elements, our name is being tarnished," the members said.
The members however refused that the Kisan Morcha went on the back foot due to Republic Day violence. They said that they will continue with the protest against farm bills.
"We will take what care that what happened on Republic Day does not happen again," said members while accusing Deep Sidhu of leading protestors to Red Fort. They also questioned the police for letting actor Deep Sidhu enter Red Fort.
“The flag that was hoisted in Red Flag was the religious Khalsa flag, not Khalistani flag as said by reported by some media outlets. We have always fought for the national integrity and our fight against the farm bills is within the rights given to us by the constitution.,” said members while clearing the doubts of the Khalistani flag hoisted in Red Fort.
Farmers said that some anti-national elements tried to use the Kisan Morcha for their vested interest.
The farmer leaders further demanded the internet services should be resumed.
