Amritsar May 26, 2019: Newly re-elected Congress Member of Parliament Chaudhary Santokh Singh along with his family today paid obeisance at Darbar Sahib, Ram Tirath and Durgiana Mandir at Amritsar to take blessings for fulfilling the aspirations of the citizens of Jalandhar, who have again posed faith in him for sending him to Parliament.
Chaudhary along with Karamjit Kaur (wife), General Secretary Punjab Congress Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary (Son), Shveta Raj Chaudhary (Daughter-in-law), Sukhmani and Sehaj (Grand Daughters), reached the Darbar Sahib and paid obeisance through standing in a long queue at Darbar Sahib before going to Ram Tirath and Durgiana Mandir, where also family paid obeisance.
Youth Congress leader Vikas Soni and District Congress President of Amritsar Smt. Jatinder Sonia were also accompanying Member of Parliament (MP) family.
“I wanted to start my second inning as Member of Parliament after getting blessings from God, thus before going to Delhi, paid obeisance at Darbar Sahib, Ram Tirath and Durgiana Mandir”, MP said adding that it was due to the excellence governance and commitment shown by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Punjabis elected eight members of parliament from Punjab.
“I prayed to God that give me strength and courage to raise the strong voice of Punjab in Parliament in an effective manner and force the NDA Government to fulfil the promises it made in its poll manifesto”, Chaudhary said Congress party would perform the role of strong opposition both inside and outside of the parliament and continue to rake up the wrong-doings of Modi Sarkar.
