Reports about Jaitley's health condition only rumours , clarifies Indian Govt
New Delhi , May 26, 2019 :
The Union government on Sunday junked reports on the deteriorating health of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as false and baseless, and said media should stay clear of rumour mongering.
"Reports in a section of media regarding Union Minister Shri Arun Jaitley's health condition are false and baseless. Media is advised to stay clear of rumour mongering," government spokesperson Sitanshu Kar said on mico-blogging site Twitter.
It may be mentioned that some reports gone viral on social media saying that Jaitley was no more .The basis for rumours may be the absence of Jaitley's absence from the meeting of NDA MPs held here on Saturday to elect the new leader of Parliamentary Party but these are not correct.
The spokesperson did not clarify why Jaitley did not attend the above mentioned meeting in the Central Hall of the Parliament .
