Former Civil & Police Officers to hold seminar on Agriculture , farming issues
Chandigarh, October 19, 2021: The Kirti Kisan Andolan has resolved to hold seminars on farming and agricultural issues in different cities such as Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar in November to create awareness among all concerned.
At a special meeting of the Kirti Kisan Forum, a body comprising former civil, police, army and provincial services officials, was held here on Tuesday, the members decided to hold seminars.
It was unanimously decided by the members of the Kirti Kisan Forum that they would continue to support the farmers' movement against the three farm bills till the end.
During the meeting, the members expressed concern and grief over the unfortunate incident at Singhu border.
Presiding the meeting, Swaran Singh Boparai and R .I Singh jointly appreciated the foresight, dedication and vision of the farmers' organizations for providing leadership to farmers in complex situations.
During these seminars, eminent agronomists and sociologists would shed light on the disappointing economic and social conditions of the farmers.
The Forum again appealed to the Central Government to withdraw the 3 Agriculture Acts.
