Ludhiana, April 17, 2020: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) is continuously striving to provide uninterrupted power to its customers in view of the situation arising out of the Corona virus.
Due to the efforts of PSPCL Has so far deposited Rs 40 crore as advance bill from the big industrialists and included employees Western Circle Ludhiana.
Responding to this initiative of PSPCL, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana secretary Prem Kumar Gupta on Friday deposited Rs 11 crore in the form of advance bill.
Chief Engineer of Ludhiana Central Zone, Daljit Inder Pal Singh Grewal, has been requested to assist PSPCL in this zone for the industrialists coming under his zone to make advance payments amid corona crisis.
Grewal has set a target to mobilise advance bill payment to the PSPCL to the tune of Rs. 100 Crore in the area under his jurisdiction.
Besides the advance Rs 11 Crore bill payment by the DMCH, the efforts made by Chief Engineer Grewal has also motivated total of 14 entrepreneurs including Rs. 10 crore from Mandi Gobindgarh's M /s Oasis Enterprises Private Limited to voluntarily come forward in this drive..
Due to his efforts, the PSPCL has been able to reveive advance payments of Rs 40 crore so far.
Chief Engineer D.I.P.S Grewal said that 1 per cent interest per month will be paid to PSPCL by the industrialists and other consumer’s who have deposited money in the form of advance bills. He also appealed to the entrepreneurs in their respective fields to be aware of PSPCL's campaign without the advanced power from them. To try to get deposited in the form.
