Chandigarh , July 04,2020 : Panjab University Chandigarh authorities have said that they will wait for UGC guidelines to take any decision on the issue of exams .
Reacting to the announcement of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh canceling University /College exams in the state , Prof R K Singla,DUI, Panjab University informed “ The University has noted the announcement made by the Punjab Chief Minister regarding cancellation of University/College Exams. However, University which has been preparing for exams/admission related activities since long, is awaiting for guidelines from UGC”.
Reacting to the statement of DUI, PU , Rahul Bhandari , Secretary High Education Punjab told Babushahi.com that as per the announcement of CM Punjab , there will be no University/ College exams in the 7 districts which fall under the jurisdiction of PU even . He said that the formal instructions are being sent to all the universities and colleges shortly.
